In Him PDF Print E-mail

“I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that does not bear fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will even be more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in Him, he will bear much fruit: apart from me you can do nothing . . .” John 15:1-5

As vital an air is for us, much more so is to be in Him. The dark clouds falling on us, the cries and dryness but springs when a man chooses to stay out of Him. And how easy it is to falter from the right path and bounces into the world of circles. A believer may be aware of love, missions, spiritual warfare, unreached zone and so forth but if it is not in Him; there is little or no power at all.

If you asked me what is most important in a believer’s life, as of now I will give you a straight IN HIM. We cannot wage war or fight against the enemy’s cunning strategies out of His grip. We may read all the right books,  sing all the right songs and be able to bloomed our sermon like a wave but  it turned into a mimicry, an empty shell with all the inner sins intact . It was here that we suffered the attacks, the dryness while believing we are the best and that we are doing mightily for the His kingdom.

Choose to have nothing, choose to know nothing but simply be in HIM. Let everything follow from there. As long as a person is in the Lord, the Holy Spirit strengthens, equipped him with all the right weapons and led a person to a better understanding of the truth which leads to every wisdom and every good gifts the world cannot give.

Our constant prayer must be that we remain in him and He in us, there is no better reward than Him abiding in us .Oh! So precious, the world becomes heaven for us when we are in him and him in us. O I asked nothing else but that I am in you and that you are in me… abide in me O, Lord, now and forever more.

Actually, nothing REALLY good can come from us if a person is not in HIM. REALLY here implies the goodness accepted by God. The endless sacrifices, charities, activities, missions, ministries that comes from men alone cannot come up to the REALLY place.

WHY! Good deeds alone will never save men. If it could there is no need for the Son to come into the world. From ancient days, people were trying to please God with their good deeds but which they miserably failed. To cleanse one sin, the blood of an animal must be shed. Just imagine in this world today, how much one will spend on cleansing one –self.

I could lost breathe just thinking about it especially for a poor soul like me. Praise Jesus for saving us from sins and making us righteous before the eyes of God, for shedding his blood for us and giving us a new life with His resurrections. That very life he gave is how we could be IN HIM and which alone is accepted by the Father.

The new life that Jesus Christ has given us is our very energy, our strength, our beauty, our holiness, our wisdom, our goodness, our salvation and  what is so wonderful here is that all these stemming out from us in HIM is happily accepted and received by GOD and counted as a REALLY one.

Prayers are answered when you pray in Him, people are saved when you preached in Him, you have joy when you are in Him, you have peace when you are in Him, and you could change the world and do a REALLY meaningful thing for the Lord when one is in Him and IN HIM alone.

Verse of the Day

Psalm 18:1-2
“[The LORD Praised for Giving Deliverance.] For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said, “I love You, O LORD, my strength.” The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
