Evangelist killed in Bihar

Evangelical Fellowship of India (EFI) mourns the death of two Christian workers who were brutally murdered and appeals to all the Christians to pray for peace in Secular India.

Evangelist. Ravi Murmu was returning home after screening a gospel movie, “Dayasagar” in a nearby village. When he didn't reach home late night, a search ensued whereby they found his severally lacerated dead body, reported our correspondent.

His hands and necks were found chopped off and there were deep cut wounds on his neck and other parts of the body.

His belongings at the time of the attack were found intact including his motorbike, cell phone, watch & Bible. Police investigation is underway.

Kindly pray for all the Christians in Bihar and for the bereaved family of late Evg. Murmu.

Verse of the Day

Psalm 18:1-2
“[The LORD Praised for Giving Deliverance.] For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said, “I love You, O LORD, my strength.” The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
