Alleged Hindu extremists on June 23 beat up two pastors seriously injuring them in Chandapura, Anekal Karnataka.

Our correspondent Rev. Noel Kotian reported that Pastors Shidu Kurialose and Nithya Vachanam form Bethel Assembly of God Church were conducting prayer meeting in a Christian home. After the meeting, the Christians went to a tea stall to have a cup of tea when armed extremists rushed in on them.

The extremists accused the pastors of forceful conversion and started beating them with iron rods. Both the pastors sustained serious injuries and were admitted in a local hospital.

Verse of the Day

Psalm 18:1-2
“[The LORD Praised for Giving Deliverance.] For the choir director. A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. And he said, “I love You, O LORD, my strength.” The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
